At Southridge, our Sunday morning programs are both an expression of our devotion to Jesus and an opportunity for us to become more inspired to pursue Him with all the days of the week.
In general, we aim to provide the same experience at whatever time and location is most suitable for you.
The nursery provides loving care for infants, babies and toddlers up to about age two-and-a-half. The nursery has safe play areas with lots of toys, rocking chairs, change tables (stocked!), and a nearby washroom.
The nursery is staffed with screened volunteers, and also equipped with a paging system. Once your child has checked in, our volunteers will provide you with a pager to carry. If the pager vibrates, please return to the nursery.
This program introduces children to the God of the Bible through age-appropriate activities such as stories, singing, crafts and activity based learning.
Movers & Shakers participate in a large group/small group ministry model which takes place in the gyms of all locations. This experience includes relevant Bible teaching, high energy music for praise and worship, and small group activities to reinforce learning and build friendships. This program aims to be the high point in every kid's week.
The R!OT (Reaching In and Out Together) is an amazing community of friends for students who are currently in Grades 6-8 (11-13 years old).
While we also offer programs for Sr. Youth (Grades 9-12) and Young Adults (age 18-25ish), those programs don't happen on Sunday mornings. Students are encouraged to attend services along with the adults, and/or volunteer to help make Sundays happen.
